A trip to the woods for Elderberry propagation

Last fall Off Grid with Doug and Stacy were at Lehman’s so we made the drive over to meet them. While there we also met Terry from River Hills Harvest…the Elderberry Guy. He showed us how to cut and trim elderberries in the winter for spring planting.

A couple years ago I found some really sweet elderberries growing in the woods so today I went and made cutting to plant in full sun this spring.

Please forgive the camera work…this is a new camera and I am a Luddite at heart anyway.
