Ostrich Ferns/fiddlehead outing with my family. Great day outside. Great plant to learn young and easy to gather for the kids. Had lots of fun and made a great steak and fiddlehead supper ! Went out May 18 to gather but the ferns were barely coming out yet. Some snow and ice still in the creek bed. We are a bilingual family so speak both french and english.
