Wild garlic is a great spring time food to forage. Wild edibles like this can add so much to your cooking experience, you really should give them a try.
I usually end up get just a couple out of my lawn every year before they get mowed off.
This year with all the rain we have gotten the planting of corn in the area has been delayed so the big patches of wild garlic in the field are about to bloom.
If you cut the tops at this time you will get some very good scapes to use in your cooking or even as a side dish.
Every part of the wild garlic plant is edible and pretty good tasting.
