Jewel Weed (Impatiens capensis) is a natural cure for poison ivy, poison oak and stinging nettle. Using the sap from the plant will help to neutralize the oils in most poisonous plants. Use on the skin. As with any wild plant/herb/edible/medicinal, please consult a local expert for positive identification. Better safe than sorry.
