I was asked by a subscriber if I would demonstrate how to make a wooden spile and how to tap a tree for collecting sap. I used river cane in the video but you can use any hollow tube or wood that is around 3 – 4 inches long. Please be responsible and plug the tapped tree up when you are finished collecting sap.
