Cercis canadensis (Eastern Redbud) – Flower buds may be pickled, Flowers can be eaten raw, pickled, or even used in Jelly, the young green seed pods can be boiled and eaten like peas. Very easy to identify this tree in the spring. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in the woods.
