Not a true wild edible but very available most everywhere, old farmsteads and many people have them in there gardens. This plant is a great source of very delicious food.
PLEASE NOTE, this is the original day lily, pure yellow flowers, I got some from my Moms flower gardens and some from my late Grandmothers gardens years ago, I have no idea if the hybrids they make today with the multi colored flowers are at all edible. Check what types are available to you before you go eating them.
